Joan Baez Nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Joan Baez who has made the shortlist of nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2017. Other nominees include Chaka Khan, Chic, Electric Light Orchestra, Jane’s Addiction, Journey, Kraftwerk, Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur and many others with the winners set to be announced in December before being inducted next April.

This is the fifth consecutive year that the public have been able to vote alongside the artists, historians and music industry insiders that made up the voting body.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation began over 25 years ago when leaders in the music industry joined together to celebrate the music and musicians that changed the world. With that, one of the Foundation’s many functions is to recognize the contributions of those who have had a significant impact on the evolution, development and perpetuation of rock and roll by inducting them into the Hall of Fame.

Joan Baez’s latest album Diamantes is available now on Propermusic, Amazon, iTunes, Spotify and all good record stores.
