Paul Brady will be performing at The Convent in Stroud this coming December as part of the Convent Christmas event which has been curated by Cara Dillon, who’ll also perform on the night along with the Dublin based four piece Lynched. Cara will be headlining the event and will also have the wonderful Mike McGoldrick joining her band for the concert which takes place on Friday 18th December.
The evening will be opened by Jools Holland favourites and holders of many positive reviews from some of the biggest names in Folk, Lynched. Lynched combine distinctive four-part vocal harmonies with arrangements of uilleann pipes, concertina, Russian accordion, fiddle and guitar.
Second on the menu is the immensely talented singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Paul Brady. As one of Ireland’s most enduringly popular artists, Paul’s music crossed the boundaries between Irish Folk music and Pop.
Tickets for the show can be purchased via the Convent website here. As with all shows at The Convent, if you’re unable to attend in person, you’ll be able to purchase tickets to watch the concert live from the comfort of your own home in high definition audio and video. Tickets for the live stream can be purchased here for £7.50.
